Painting of a tennis court as part of the project “Formando Cidadão (Fostering Citizens)” and the face of the tennis player Guga Kuerten, sponsor of the project, by the plastic artist Paulo Consentino.
‘Tudo de cor para você’, from Tintas Coral, got together with the project “Formando Cidadão (Fostering Citizens)” and with the Associação de Moradores do Canto da Lagoa (Residents’ Association from the Canto da Lagoa) to honor the three times champion of Roland Garros Gustavo Kuerten.
A 16.2 square meter-panel with the face of the tennis player is to be painted by artist Paulo Santos Consentino at the headquarters of the NGO which also offers tennis, computer and painting lessons for local children. The delivery of the artistic painting, which will be attended by Kuerten, will take place on April 27th, at 11 am, at the headquarters of the institution. A painting task force with community residents and supporters of the initiative will also take place at the same time.
In addition to the panel, ’Tudo de cor para você‘ will repaint the tennis court and the headquarters of the “Formando Cidadão”. The institute was founded in 1997, and currently serves 250 children who live in Canto da Lagoa neighbourhood. Born in Florianópolis, Gustavo Kuerten is one of the project supporters. The art created by the artist Paulo Consentino, invited by the project ’Tudo de cor para você‘, values the joy and the winning attitude of Gustavo Kuerten in the courts.
Consentino has a solid job with sports. He has already portrayed great Brazilian football players in Santos Futebol Clube’s Training Center Rei Pelé and at the Congonhas Airport in São Paulo with the art called Mural of the Cups. In the Neymar Jr Institute’s multi-sport gym in Praia Grande (SP), he painted the athlete who is currently playing in FC Barcelona and the former gymnast Lais Souza.
