Adding Colour to Porto Seguro

The focus of this project was the historical Porto Seguro and the challenge was simple – paint more than 150 houses in just eight weeks.

On the day the project started the community were very anxious to get painting, the prospect of adding colour to their community was one that had inspired everyone. To kick off the painting a performance of the traditional Brazilian dance Capoeira took place. In total 330 people took part in turning this sad and grey corner of Brazil into an explosion of colour.
