A huge, emblematic, long, dull concrete wall in the centre of Budapest, bordering the Eastern Centre Station becomes the most colourful spot of the city.

This was the first public location for the Let’s Colour Project that was organized by Dulux Hungary without an application from a community member. The location was chosen because it borders the Eastern Center Train Station of Budapest, close to the horse track, Kincsem Park and opposite the biggest shopping mall of the city. Around 100 volunteers registered for the painting, which became a really busy event on a hot Saturday of August with big media interest.

All the volunteers knew about the Let’s Colour Project from different media, knew about other locations and events, and were happy to be able to join us to take part in such a great event. All of them worked really hard all day long in the 40 degree hot weather. They received water, apple and some cookies labelled with Dulux Let’s Colour logo to be able to finish the huge work until the end of the day.
