Around 60 people from the Let’s Colour project team and the surrounding neighbourhood, under the supervision of street artist Matt W. Moore, were able to transform the grey old walls of Brunnenmarkt into a colourful piece of artwork that reflected the diversity of the area and its inhabitants.

The project motivated local politicians, people from the centre of art and culture, fans to lend a hand in painting the walls that needed urgent renewal, all whilst in a 40°C heat. Together, they created a huge piece of artwork in one of the most culturally active districts in Vienna.

People – especially those living in the area – were extremely happy with the new look of the walls. They loved the artwork, convinced that it would add personality of the Brunnenmarkt.
