Together, let’s colour Belgium’s schools

Belgium’s schools work with very tight budgets. Once they finance the unavoidable operational costs, there’s hardly ever any money left to make school buildings attractive and fun. Pity, because colourful classrooms do wonders for children’s concentration and motivation.

That’s why for the second year in a row, we have invited people across Belgium to help transform our schools. The mechanics of the campaign worked extremely well last year, so they remained unchanged. We re-opened our special website where any pre-school or primary school in Belgium could register their project. Any customer who bought a litre of Levis paint between March 18 and June 15 received a voucher worth 1 litre of free paint. By going to the website, selecting a project and inputting their code(s), customers were able to donate free paint to the school of their choice. We are currently sending all the paint to the schools, allowing them to paint during the school holidays and start the new school year in colourful style.

Once again the campaign was a big, big success: 1.802 schools registered a project (even more than last year and almost 1 in 3) and 256.500 m² of free paint were donated. The whole nation got involved.
