Let’s Color Project added a splash of colour to Yeldeğirmeni Sokaği

We chose Yeldeğirmeni Sokağı as it hasn't been painted for many years. There are three 200-year old apartments in the street that were very dull and faded so the Let's Colour team joined the community in adding colour to this historic and beautiful residential area.

We chose Yeldeğirmeni Sokağı as it hasn’t been painted for many years. There are three 200-year old apartments in the street that were very dull and faded so the Let’s Colour team joined the community in adding colour to this historic and beautiful residential area.

More than 150 people, including volunteers from local community & Marshall Employees, rolled up their sleeves to transform the exterior of the buildings. Nine new colours were chosen from the Marshall Ottoman Bazaars Collection. After painting the street a concert was held by a local music group to celebrate the new colourful community.

The residents still can’t believe that the apartments are theirs. Some of them also gave interviews to the local media saying they were happy for Marshall’s help in adding colour to their homes.
