Famous upcoming Australian design trio Eliza Clare/Adornus believe that every woman deserves a colourful handbag and that they “are like chocolate. One is never enough.” Their designs (including the colourful number above) are influenced by the great (Sarah) Eliza Clare a Fashionista and Couturier extraordinaire with a penchant for vibrant shoes and handbags.

We rate this series of candy coloured lamps made from discarded detergent bottles. Designed by El Salvador born designer Eugenio Menjivar, who drew inspiration from the colour and shape of lotus flower. One person’s trash really is another’s treasure.

Check the digital graffiti wall inside the Salt Building the Athlete’s Village for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver. The wall (created by Tangible Interaction) is also touring all round Canada, letting people to create colourful wall murals with the touch of their hands. It’s just like a big iPad app. Such fun.

Love this print by Matt Whitwell. It’s so 80’s. A young artist from New Zealand, his work is inspired by reducing, reusing, recycling and reappropriation of materials. It comes as a digital print or on canvas. Would look great backed on a vibrant wall. Would love to see it as a sculpture. Thanks for sending it in @KrizzlyAdam

Brazilian designer, Mauricio Arruda, creates these cheery eco-friendly cabinets using old plastic crates in primary colours that he finds in Brazilian markets. They’ve got such character and cheeky childlike charm to them, would look great in an office or warehouse home.

This new age carpet is very cool. Made from lots of little foam bars of different colours and heights. I imagine walking on it to be like a soft version of a masseuse sandal and would be a lot cheaper than going to a reflexologist. It’s designed by Laurens van Wieringen.

A colouring in book that you can wear. Pretty cool. It comes with bright and cheery markers so you can design your own colourful pattern.  It is pretty exy but the end result is a one of a kind dress, so can’t really argue with that. You can buy it online here.

Japanese wood sculptor Haroshi creates these amazing wood sculptures from used skateboards. All sculptures are  sanded back to a smooth finish and then are coloured with candy like colours.

Loving this ultra colourful iconic mural by Josh Van Horne in his hometown of Baltimore. The bold building is in an area laden with warehouses, so it must really stand out. It’s said that each symbol, including the backwards font represents a past or present aspect of the neighborhood. Sewing machines, keyboards, bottle tops, letter press, paint brushes, cameras, all in hyper-colored repetitive pattern.

These days with our reliance on mobile phones, watch brands are having to make their designs just as much a fashion statement as a functional tool to tell the time. Which is why we are loving the re-Issue of the original Raised by Wolves and Furni digital watch collaboration. 1980’s old school design, it comes in a range of neon-popping colours just in time for summer. Plus, a bit of every watch sale goes to giving skateboards to underprivileged youth across Canada with the contributor campaign. An extra reason to get more colourful.
