Loving these funky and cute wall transfers by Chinese/Australian illustrator Yiying Lu. If you think her style seems a little bit familiar, it’s because Yiying is actually the illustrator behind Twitter.com’s Fail Whale icon. So cute. She’s just started to bring her illustrations to the new medium of wall transfers. They look great on top of a bold and confidently coloured painted wall like. I want to say that they’d be perfect in a little girl’s or boy’s room… but actually, I think I want some of the little birds for my hallway!
Here’s how she describes this new medium: “Brilliant colours. Re-positionable. Premium wall graphics from LTL PRINTS bring my art to an accessible new medium. Truly Art for Everyone!”
Yiying’s prints come in lots of different sizes (from laptop-size up to seven feet tall), are self-adhesive and will stick to almost any surface (walls, windows, even ceilings! love ceiling colour!), and can be removed and re-hung 100 times without leaving a mark or damaging your walls… which means you can change your wall colour and then re-stick on.
Prices start at $14.95 for laptop-sized graphics, to LTL PRINTS’ signature 7 foot tall ‘larger-than-lifesize’ wall graphics, for $149.95.
