Last time we were in France we transformed a council estate in Aulnay, Paris. This time we are stepping up the colour even more with painting events happening over the next three weeks, beginning in Marseille on Monday and everyone is welcome.
We have invited three artists to explore the power of colour in Marseille, Lyon and Paris. During open performances in the street and online we will show how colourful paint and the talent of a group of people can actually give a flat surface a life of its own.
At the end of the performances, the three walls will form one unique work of multi-media art, celebrating the meeting of street art, music and animation around the extraordinary power of colour.
So come along and join us in Marseille, Lyon and Paris to experience the event or follow the whole project on www.wallsaredancing.fr

The artists:
MWM – Street artist (UPIAN): Matt W. Moore, named MWM, sets his artwork in the whole world. He is the creator of the Vectorfunk style – abstract wall painting, with geometric and colourful shapes. To make the walls dance, he is going to paint shapes and colours, which will then be animated by Groupuscule.
Monsieur Monsieur – Electro DJ: Supported by Yuksek, Brodinski and The Shoes, Monsieur Monsieur are quickly becoming one of the most promising new talents of the new French electronic scene. To make the walls dance, this duo from Reims has written a new exclusive track: Dancing Walls.
Groupuscule – Director (COSA): With several video clips, short films and artistic uptakes, this young collective of directors is undoubtedly one of today’s most talented youngsters. They will capture each stage of MWM’s work, and edit the images to the music.
